Heavy … is what I’m going to be after I eat roughly two dozen of these little guys (meant to be a homemade pierogi) this weekend.

These were the first flowers to pop up in our garden last year, and I’m very much looking forward to seeing them again. There’s still a fair bit of snow here, but things are melting fast, so hopefully it won’t be too long now!

Look at these gorgeous chocolate bar wrappers from Mast Brothers Chocolate! Sounds like the chocolate itself would be just as great, as they make it completely by hand.

The company modernfront takes antique furniture and coats it in “soft-skin rubber” to produce its Plastic-Fantastic series (see their shop for more … there are sconces & couches too).

One of my favourite blogs is grain edit, which focuses primarily on great print design from the 50s to 70s, and is really just an amazing stream of visual treats. Check out this post on a French type specimen book. And the blog itself is beautifully designed. Love it!
